I’ve studied illustration and writing at the University of Washington. I adore fabric and have designed my own. and sold it around the world. Growing up, I spent many summers on a fishing boat in Alaska. This is me on the boat when I was a kid. We didn’t have things like a TV or video games. Even our radio wouldn't play without fuzzy noises. I didn't mind. I made art and read lots of books. Now I live on Bainbridge Island with my husband Dave. We have grown children, a granddaughter, and two whippets that run really, really fast! My favorite thing I did as a kid is still my favorite thing to do now. Make art.
